BDLS encourages all Exchange Officers to attend a “you in order for us to ‘meet’ and to pass on important information about your arrival and posting to Canada. We aim to hold this with you anywhere between 1 – 3 months BEFORE you arrive in Canada. BDLS staff will go over the important ‘bits and pieces’ to help your arrival go smoothly. We no longer ask each Sp to stage through Ottawa – we can do a virtual meeting instead. Information about how to arrange your Pre-Arrival brief will be sent via email.
